Following on from the catastrophic failure that was the Dirty Deeds program, the Dirty Deeds engineering team regrouped. Together they prepared a report outlining the spectacular losses generated by the scheme, along with an outline of any and all of the artificial intelligence driven system errors. After much soul searching and consideration the group determined that going forward the only way to proceed was to revisit the ghost of a much older program, and the concept of a covert strike force was reborn. Instead of relying on just one model of robot to cover all operational tasks, they would create a diverse robot team where many models would work together in concert to achieve one objective.
 
This covert team is known simply as Dread Deed.
 
The Dread Deed also had its fair share of initial failures ( due to the customizing of the ROTHCHILD programming), the Dread became known for its disregard for friendly fire and incredibly surly nihilistic attitudes, leading to many early violent decommissionings of Dread members! One of these, an Armstrong, has now resurfaced as a member of the strike group known as The Shitty Nine!
